Free winter check Saturday December 17th 2011
We have just had a customer in for MOT with 2 front tyres that were so bald, the cords were showing. Illegal tyres seem to be very common at the moment, with 3 points and a nasty fine for each one and of course the danger element, we are trying hard to educate and help customers. We are currently offering a free winter check which includes a vehicle inspection checklist. New room for engine and gear box re-builds Saturday November 5th 2011
We are in the process of building a new room specifically for engine and gearbox rebuilds. Many thanks to Paul Wells of PNW Carpentry Services for building us a new bench. Just had garage piano tuned, sounds great. Tuner Paul said he 'd never seen piano in a garage before, let alone in a pink garage! It was long overdue and sounded truly awful - to the point I could no longer bear to play it. Now it sounds beautiful again, I can get practising and resume teaching Kelly and Moranda to play. It's looking a little tired though so I might even treat it to a lick of paint to make it look extra special - no prizes for guessing what colour it will be!... more...

Had a great day today! Went to the annual Norfolk BNI Awards and proud to say I am part of the group who won best chapter. Postman Pat leaves us Saturday April 9th 2011
Our beloved Postman Pat van, which we have completed some restoration work on, was picked up by his loving owner Mr Jim Cawte earlier today. The van is a 1980's Morris Etal and was actually driven by Jim when he was a postman! He has had some remedial work to his underside (the van not Jim!) and new inner and outer sill sections welded in on the offside. He can be seen at times 'cruising' the streets of Wymondham and at various shows in the area throughout the summer. ... more...
